In the recent years the focus on the connective tissues (Fascial tissue) in the body has become stronger, and not without a reason. This exciting network in the body has in many ways been a somewhat underdeveloped area when it comes to training and movement, as there has been very little knowledge about the structures. The great scientific interest in Fascia means that we know more today, and there are new perspectives on how to manipulate the fascial structures of the body with training.
In most sport - and training areas, the primary target has been cardiovascular and muscle oriented training. Today we believe that many would have had even more effect of their training, if it had been combined with Fascia oriented training. This Fascia oriented focus could have prevented many of the classical injuries and made the body more resilient.
In Elastic Training Basic you get exercises and training-sessions with a Fascia oriented perspective. The main focus of the exercises is to get a better feeling of your own body and possible blocked areas. Through the exercises you will optimize your movement in the body, and thereby build a better foundation for strength and stability so that you can move much better and gain more resilience. The Fascia structures can be compared to elastic material in the body, and the purpose of the movements will be to rebuild a stronger, more free and more resilient elastic network.
Elastic Training Basic can be used by everybody - both as a supplement to your existing training, as a way to get started again after injury and pain, or simply as everyday exercises for your wellbeing. Most people are surprised to learn how effective this kind of training is.
Content
- Theoretical background

- 3 mobilizing training sessions
- 3 strengthening/loading training sessions
The training sessions last in total about 71 minutes, and can be done like one program, where you train the whole body. Each training session can also be used alone, or as a component in your current training routines.
About Hilde Gudding
Hilde Gudding is a trained Physical Therapist and the owner of Elastic Stability that offers treatment, personal training and teaching of group sessions. Elastic Stability even offers courses in the use of Fascia in treatment, training and movement.
For many years Hilde has worked in a clinical environment specializing in rehabilitation of different kinds of injuries and pain situations - and has a lot of experience in teaching different kinds of movement therapies. Via Elastic Stability Hilde has developed the mindset Think Elastic, where the main focus is to prevent and decrease muscular and skeletal problems by combining new knowledge of the connective tissues of the body with coaching and special developed pedagogical tools.
